KeepFunded — Cloud Risk Enforcement for MT5 and cTrader Traders
KeepFunded is cloud risk enforcement software and an automated trading journal for MT5 and cTrader traders, on prop firm and own-capital accounts. You set your rules while calm. KeepFunded enforces them on the account, 24/7, from its own servers.
What does KeepFunded do?
KeepFunded closes positions, adds stop-losses and holds limits so one bad session cannot end your account. It never opens trades and can never deposit, withdraw or transfer funds.
The six pillars of KeepFunded
- 24 cloud protection features in six layers, enforced server-side.
- Automated trading journal filled from your broker trades.
- Performance and Focus views of your edge.
- Behaviour Desk and Insights that flag giveback, loss streaks and pace bursts.
- Account Story: the full history of each account on one chart.
- Ask Intelligence: questions about your own trading, answered from your data.
Which protections are included?
- Daily loss lock that closes positions and blocks entries until the next trading day.
- Mandatory stop-loss injection on unprotected positions.
- Automatic break-even and partial close.
- High-impact news blackout (NFP, CPI, FOMC).
- End-of-day flatten and weekend protection.
- Lock Settings for Today, so rules cannot be loosened while tilted.
- Loss streak cooldown, execution pace guard and profit giveback guard.
How to protect a trading account with KeepFunded
- Connect your account. MT5 through KeepFunded Cloud with login, password and server, or cTrader through the official Open API. No VPS and nothing to install.
- Choose your rules. Start from a firm template such as FTMO, FundingPips, The5ers, FundedNext, Alpha Capital Group, Aveon Funding, Fintokei or FXIFY, or set your own limits.
- Trade normally. KeepFunded watches every position and acts at your limits, even when you trade from your phone.
Who is KeepFunded for?
KeepFunded is for all MT5 and cTrader traders: prop firm challenge and funded accounts, and live retail accounts on your own capital.
Frequently asked questions
Does KeepFunded support both MT5 and cTrader?
Yes. KeepFunded supports both MetaTrader 5 and cTrader. MT5 connects through KeepFunded Cloud (or the optional self-hosted Bridge), while cTrader connects through the official cTrader Open API.
Does KeepFunded require a VPS?
No. KeepFunded Cloud enforces your rules from KeepFunded's own servers 24/7. There is nothing to install, no EA to keep running and no VPS to rent, and trades placed from your phone are protected too. If you prefer running protection inside your own MT5 terminal or VPS, an optional self-hosted MT5 Bridge is also available.
What is the difference between KeepFunded Cloud and the Bridge?
KeepFunded Cloud is the main product: it connects your MT5 or cTrader account and protects it from our servers around the clock. The Bridge is an optional self-hosted MT5 connector for traders who prefer to run protection inside their own terminal or VPS; it only protects while that terminal is running.
Can KeepFunded close trades automatically?
Yes. When a limit you set is reached — daily loss, max drawdown, news blackout, end of day, weekend or a behaviour cooldown — KeepFunded closes the affected positions on the broker account and blocks new entries. It never opens trades.
Is KeepFunded a PipsGuard alternative?
Yes. Like PipsGuard, KeepFunded protects the account from the cloud without a VPS. KeepFunded also supports cTrader as well as MT5, and adds an automatic journal, Behaviour Desk, Account Story and Ask Intelligence in the same platform.
Which prop firms does KeepFunded support?
Rule templates are built from the published rules of FTMO, FundingPips, Aveon Funding, The5ers, FundedNext, Alpha Capital Group, Fintokei and FXIFY. Any other firm or personal broker account works with custom rules. These firms are not partners or affiliates.
